The Holy Spirit || Part 9, Day 5

Acts‬ 2‬:1‬-4‬ NKJV‬‬

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Tongues for intercession or personal prayer.

1 Corinthians 14:2 “For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God.”

Romans 8:26-27 “Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.”

Church, you must understand that God has given you a prayer language in the Holy Spirit. He has given you tongues as a prayer language to speak directly to Him. They are tongues that cause you to go to a deeper level of intercession. These tongues are not understood by men nor demons. However, when you begin to pray with the tongues of intercession, you prayed the perfect will of God in the earth.

The Bible also tells us that in the times when you don’t know what to pray, God has given you an ability through the Holy Spirit to pray His perfect will. In times, when you don’t know what to do, and times, when you don’t know what to say, and in times when you don’t have the answer, when you begin to pray in tongues of intercession God begins to give the answer in the Earth.

You see, Church, we are not all-knowing, we are not all-present, and we are not all-powerful. However, the One we serve, the One who has come to live in us, is all-knowing, all-present, and all-powerful. The Holy Spirit knows what is happening on the other side of the world right now.

The Holy Spirit knows if your family member out of state is in trouble right now. The Holy Spirit knows if your child is in danger. The Holy Spirit knows if one of the congregants of this church is in a bad situation right now. He is all-knowing, He is all-present, and He is all-powerful.

Therefore, He will speak to you to start praying. The problem is you don’t know who needs prayer, where they are at, what they are facing, and what they need. Therefore, He brings you into a place of intercession, and you begin to pray in the Spirit. The prayers you offer in the Spirit are unfruitful to your natural understanding, but they are powerful in the Spirit.

As you pray in the Spirit, the Lord is helping someone in need right then. He is answering someone’s problem, or He is rescuing someone out of danger. Well, that’s good preacher but right now me and my family need the prayers. How do you know those prayers aren’t helping you and your family?

With supernatural power and abilities like this no wonder the devil is fighting so many that they would not believe in this. No wonder he has people preaching against it and mocking it. He knows that a church that is full of the Spirit and prays in the Spirit is a church that will shake this world with the power of God.

Jude 20 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”

When you pray in the Spirit, you are building yourself up in holy faith. When you are praying in the Holy Ghost, your faith is growing supernaturally. When you pray in the Holy Ghost supernatural strength will begin to come to your life. When you pray in the Holy Ghost supernatural joy will begin to come to your life.

Have you ever gone throughout the day and just seemed like you were in some type of funk? The whole day just seemed like you were struggling in your attitude and love. You can begin to pray in the Holy Ghost, you can begin to intercede in the Holy Ghost, and He will begin to supernaturally build your faith and impart joy in your life for that day.
