From Struggle to Triumph: Part 2 || Day 1

Joshua‬ 1:2-11
“Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, “Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, ‘Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you will cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’ ”

Church, when God began to speak this to us, He told us that the days of contending are over. Yes, there are some things that we will always contend for. We will always contend for the faith. We will always contend for righteousness and holiness to be advanced in the land. So, when I say the days of contending are over, what we’re talking about is the days of struggle are over.

Right now, the Spirit of God, the power of God, and the grace of God is ushering the TRUE church into the place of triumph. I believe that God has released an ease in the Spirit for His people. What seemed to be so difficult and what seemed to be almost impossible now will be done with ease.

In the book of Zechariah, the Lord tells Zechariah to go and prophesy the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel. You see, they had been working on the house of the Lord doing all they could to rebuild it. While they are doing this, they are experiencing all types of attacks and warfare. The nobles of that area wrote a letter to the king and lied on them, and it caused the work of the house of the Lord to cease. In other words, not only were they in the midst of struggle but now they were facing an impossible situation. They had no way out of their struggle.
For two years the work on the house of the Lord was stopped. For two years building materials laid on the ground. For two years people who had left their homes to come back and build the house of the Lord sat with nothing to do. For two years the leaders who had heard from the Lord to go back and build a house of God were wondering, “Did I really hear from the Lord?”

But the Bible says in the second year of the reign of Darius King of Persia, the prophets Haggai and Zachariah received a word from the Lord. They went to the leaders and prophesied the word of the Lord to them, and this is what they said.

Zechariah 4:6-7
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of Hosts. Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And He shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace to it!’”
