Unity: The Secret to Victory || Part 2 - Day 2

Psalms‬ 133‬:1‬-3‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.

I Corinthians‬ 1‬:10‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Matthew‬ 18‬:18‬-22‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Unity causes you to build the impossible.

Unity causes you to believe for the impossible.

The Bible tells us on the seventh day the children of Israel walked around the walls seven times. When they finished that seventh time, the priest took their ram’s horns and at the command of Joshua, all the people shouted, and the priest blew their horns. And the walls that were impossible to bring down came falling down. All the walls fell except the one that Rahab, and her family were in. The children of Israel defeated Jericho that day.

What attracted such power and glory from heaven? What causes the Lord to want to dwell with them and not kill them like He did the generation before them? They were united behind their leader and followed him as he followed the Lord. You don’t read about a group of people getting together behind Joshua’s back to take everyone back to Egypt like they did Moses. They were united in speech and belief. How do we know?

Joshua 1:16, “So they answered Joshua, saying, ‘All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us we will go.’”

This unity with one another and their leader caused them to believe for the impossible. It’s amazing what can happen when a group of believers get together and believe the same thing. I’m telling you God will move in a powerful and supernatural way. Unity causes you to believe for the impossible.
