The Unsettling: When Heaven Invades Earth
Acts 16:25-26 NKJV
But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
Today it is time to get your authority back!
I warn you though. Authority invites enemies.
Your greatest enemy is lethargy!
The unconscious church only occupies pews and not lands.
Hebrews 12:28-29 says, “Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire.”
Pray this with me now…I invite into this room a spirit of conviction and refreshing.
KEYS ARE DANGLING! ANSWERS ARE HERE! FAVOR!
Acts chapter 16 was 54-57 A.D. This is important! Why? Because We are now in a second generation of disciples. The recipe didn’t change. Paul and Silas were on a missionary journey. The church was growing! Hell was angry!
Paul and Silas are building the church Philippi. Hell is angry!
Shout this over your life…My Praise invites chaos!
True worship most often takes place when it seems all is lost and that is when all is found.
I dare say heaven still requires a sacrifice.
Hebrews 13:13-15 MSG
So let’s go outside, where Jesus is, where the action is—not trying to be privileged insiders, but taking our share in the abuse of Jesus. This “insider world” is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come. Let’s take our place outside with Jesus, no longer pouring out the sacrificial blood of animals but pouring out sacrificial praises from our lips to God in Jesus’ name.
Did you catch that? There is an invasion that is coming! I am not speaking of the geopolitical climate. NO! I am speaking of when heaven invades the earth with His Glory.
