Build It || Part 5, Day 5

Matthew‬ 16‬:13‬-19‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Luke‬ 19‬:13‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Ezra‬ 4‬:1‬-6‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

”Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the descendants of the captivity were building the temple of the Lord God of Israel, they came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers’ houses, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we seek your God as you do; and we have sacrificed to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here.” But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the fathers’ houses of Israel said to them, “You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the Lord God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.” Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. In the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.“

‬‬The fourth strategy of the devil to try and keep you from building is to falsely accuse you.

This is an attempt to try and sever relationships that will grant you favor in the Earth. It is also an attempt to intimidate you and cause you not to move forward. It is what the devil is best at. As a matter of fact, the Bible calls him the accuser of the brethren. He doesn’t just falsely accuse you in the Earth, but he also accuses you before God.

The devil understands that with the power that’s in your spirit, and the favor that’s on your life, you are unstoppable in the Earth.

That’s why you have to be born again to be able to stand before God. When you are born again, the blood of Jesus is applied to your life, and now you have an Advocate with the Father. In other words, you have a Lawyer. Someone who will stand in the courtrooms of Heaven and plead your case. And if you think your case is good without the blood of Jesus, you are sadly and eternally mistaken.

The Bible says your righteousness is filthy rags in the sight of God. In other words, if you walk into the courtroom of Heaven without the blood of Jesus and the Advocate, Jesus, as your Lawyer, you walk in with filthy rags on. And without that lawyer pleading your case before the Father, everything the devil says will be counted as right.

But when the blood of Jesus is applied to your life, He is now your Advocate, your Lawyer, in Heaven’s courtroom. Therefore, when the devil stands up and accuses you before the Father; What you have done, and who you have been he doesn’t get the last word. Jesus then stands up and says, “All that accuser/prosecutor has said is correct. However, Father, We have a better case that speaks louder than the accuser’s.

“The accuser is right but he’s too late! One day, they walked down to an altar and repented of their sins and confessed Me as Lord and Savior. On that day My blood was applied to their life and their sins were washed away never to be remembered again. And, according to the terms of this covenant, when You see them, You have to see Me and My righteousness. Therefore, let it be known today that My blood speaks against you devil and it speaks louder than you.”

Church, how do we know we can build it? The blood speaks for us. What do you say when the devil accuses you? The blood speaks for me!

Let’s pray together…
