It's Time to Come Up: Part 3
It’s Time to Come Up || Part 3 - Day 3
Haggai 2:6-9 NKJV
For thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Matthew 6:19-26 NKJV
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”
Hebrews 7:1-10 NKJV
For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, to whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all, first being translated “king of righteousness,” and then also king of Salem, meaning “king of peace,” without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, remains a priest continually. Now consider how great this man was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth of the spoils. And indeed those who are of the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have a commandment to receive tithes from the people according to the law, that is, from their brethren, though they have come from the loins of Abraham; but he whose genealogy is not derived from them received tithes from Abraham and blessed him who had the promises. Now beyond all contradiction the lesser is blessed by the better. Here mortal men receive tithes, but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives. Even Levi, who receives tithes, paid tithes through Abraham, so to speak, for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him.
We left off a few weeks ago by bringing down certain lies in the church about the tithe. These are deceptions that unlearned Christians have accepted as truth. Some are not unlearned; they were looking for someone to give them permission to rob God. Either way, many in the body of Christ have demonized prosperity while the world capitalized on it. Some of this is because there was abuse throughout the church. Therefore, many turned their faces away from it and refused to acknowledge the truths of the Bible because of a few individuals that abused the message.
Another deception in the church today is that wealthy Christians or wealthy Kingdom leaders are evil and wicked. In other words, it’s unbiblical for Christians to be financially blessed.
Beloved, this is a lie that Satan spoon-fed the church to cripple it and cause it to no longer be impactful in the earth. This deception paralyzed and neutralized the church so they would declare a message that they could not demonstrate. Therefore, they would preach about a God that would provide while they were being kicked out of their buildings. So, they would stand up and preach about a gospel that the whole world needs to hear, but they wouldn’t have the resources to go tell them. They would witness to their neighbors about how good God is, and then have to borrow money from them next week to get groceries. This lie caused the church to walk away from its Kingdom identity and assignment. The church walked away from the Kingdom and embraced religion.
But today in the name of Jesus, I break that off of anyone and everyone listening! I decree in Jesus name that you will not only proclaim the glory and goodness of God, but you will also demonstrate the glory and goodness of God! We are Kingdom people! We are a peculiar people! We are a royal priesthood! We are in this world, but we are not of it. We are Kingdom people!
Let’s pray together…
