Unity: The Secret to Victory || Part 1 - Day 4
Psalms 133:1-3 NKJV
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.
I Corinthians 1:10 NKJV
Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Matthew 18:18-22 NKJV
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”
The Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians chapter 1 that we are to speak the same thing. That means we are to have the same speech. It doesn’t mean we all have to speak English, Spanish, or some other earthly language. It means we all have to have the same thing coming out of our mouths. We all have to speak faith out of our mouths. We all have to speak faith into the vision of this house.
The Bible also tells us in 1 Corinthians that we are to be of the same mind and judgment. That means we are not just one in speech, but we are one in thought and one in heart. Church, when we commit to these things, I want you to know, ALC, there will be nothing impossible for us!
If a group of heathen people could accomplish the impossible by unifying, how much more can the church of the Lord Jesus Christ accomplish by unifying. We have the grace and the anointing of the Holy Ghost to help us. We have the favor and the covenant of God on our side to help us. When the church unites, we can build the impossible.
This is also true for your marriages and in your home. This is true for the whole family in the house. If you come into unity and began to speak the same thing and have the same mind toward something, by the grace of God, you will be able to build the impossible. That is why the devil attacks marriages so hard. He knows, just like he knows the same for the church, once there is unity between a husband and wife, you can build the impossible.
