Build It: Part 2
Build It || Part 2, Day 4
Matthew 16:13-19 NKJV
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Luke 19:13 KJV
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
In Acts 16 we read about two men of God who have been put in prison. They had been beaten with rods and were now lying in a filthy prison, naked and bleeding and their feet were fastened in the stocks. In every way, it looked as though the enemy had won. There was nothing about their situation or circumstances that shouted victory. Everything was screaming defeat and despair.
However, the Bible says at MIDNIGHT, Paul and Silas were praying and singing praise to God and the prisoners were listening.
Church, some of you are in your midnight hour right now. In every way it looks as though you have been defeated. There is nothing about your situation that is shouting victory. However, you are hearing a word from heaven this morning that is causing faith to rise. That faith is going to cause you to give God a praise in the middle of your trial.
The devil had planned for midnight to be your defeat. But what he doesn’t know is the praise you are about to give God will destroy his plan and bring your victory.
The devil had planned for your midnight to be your exit. But what he doesn’t know is the praise you are about to give God will cause him to exit and give you an entrance to more.
The devil had planned for your midnight to be your breakdown. But what he doesn’t know is the praise you are about to give God has turned your breakdown into your breakthrough.
