God Ain't Done Yet || Part 8 - Day 1

I Corinthians‬ 1‬:25‬-29‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.

Judges‬ 6‬:1‬-16‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains. So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of bondage; and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice.’ ” Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to Him, “O my Lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”

Some weeks ago, we began a prophetic series called God Ain’t Done Yet! It’s a word given to us from heaven from the story of Gideon. It’s a right now word for the body of Christ in these end times. When the angel spoke the word of the Lord over Gideon, he received a grace, an anointing from the Lord to turn his nation around. The grace and desire to encounter God. The revelation to realize God has a higher way for me to live. The anointing, the grace, to expose false prophets and to tear down idolatrous altars. The anointing to gather and call out the true sons and daughters of the kingdom. The anointing, the grace, to take a little and make much. The anointing, the grace, to overcome mixture and to tear down doubt. That grace and anointing that was placed on Gideon is being placed on the church right now to turn this nation around. As we look at the story of Gideon, I think it’s very important that we adequately understand the series of events that take place. I think it’s imperative that we understand what God accomplished through Gideon and 300 men in a very short time. Many times, we look at the 300 men being the only miracle, but the time in which they accomplished it was a miracle as well. What we must understand is that we start off the story of Gideon in Judges chapter 6. The Bible tells us how these children of Israel did evil in the sight of God and therefore, He handed them over to their enemies for seven years. They have been under the cruel merciless hand of their enemies for seven years now. But by the 11th verse in chapter 6, God is already working on their freedom and deliverance. Which lets me know that when God is ready to move in a matter, He wants to move fast. Yes, there are some things that don’t happen real fast with God at times. But when it comes to accomplishing His will in the earth and in your life, He moves fast. Yes, it may seem slow to us at times, but when you look back at where you were and compare it to where are, you will see God moves fast.
