God Ain't Done Yet || Part 9
God Ain't Done Yet || Part 9, Day 3
Judges 7:9-25 NKJV
It happened on the same night that the Lord said to him, “Arise, go down against the camp, for I have delivered it into your hand. But if you are afraid to go down, go down to the camp with Purah your servant, and you shall hear what they say; and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp.” Then he went down with Purah his servant to the outpost of the armed men who were in the camp. Now the Midianites and Amalekites, all the people of the East, were lying in the valley as numerous as locusts; and their camels were without number, as the sand by the seashore in multitude. And when Gideon had come, there was a man telling a dream to his companion. He said, “I have had a dream: To my surprise, a loaf of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian; it came to a tent and struck it so that it fell and overturned, and the tent collapsed.” Then his companion answered and said, “This is nothing else but the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel! Into his hand God has delivered Midian and the whole camp.” And so it was, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, that he worshiped. He returned to the camp of Israel, and said, “Arise, for the Lord has delivered the camp of Midian into your hand.” Then he divided the three hundred men into three companies, and he put a trumpet into every man’s hand, with empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers. And he said to them, “Look at me and do likewise; watch, and when I come to the edge of the camp you shall do as I do: When I blow the trumpet, I and all who are with me, then you also blow the trumpets on every side of the whole camp, and say, ‘The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!’ ” So Gideon and the hundred men who were with him came to the outpost of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just as they had posted the watch; and they blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers that were in their hands. Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the pitchers—they held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands for blowing—and they cried, “The sword of the Lord and of Gideon!” And every man stood in his place all around the camp; and the whole army ran and cried out and fled. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, the Lord set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp; and the army fled to Beth Acacia, toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel Meholah, by Tabbath. And the men of Israel gathered together from Naphtali, Asher, and all Manasseh, and pursued the Midianites. Then Gideon sent messengers throughout all the mountains of Ephraim, saying, “Come down against the Midianites, and seize from them the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan.” Then all the men of Ephraim gathered together and seized the watering places as far as Beth Barah and the Jordan. And they captured two princes of the Midianites, Oreb and Zeeb. They killed Oreb at the rock of Oreb, and Zeeb they killed at the winepress of Zeeb. They pursued Midian and brought the heads of Oreb and Zeeb to Gideon on the other side of the Jordan.
I believe this story of Gideon is speaking to the present-day church right now. I believe it is telling us what to do to manifest the victory of God in the earth today. I believe it’s a battle strategy to grant us victory against the enemies that seem impossible.
The first part of the Lord’s strategy to give them victory was to put trumpets in their hands. Trumpets in the Bible have always been used to announce things or to give marching orders. Instead of putting swords in their hands they put trumpets in their hands. Why? Because the sword meant they were there to FIGHT FOR THE VICTORY.
The trumpet meant they were there to ANNOUNCE VICTORY!
Job 22:28 (ASV), “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee; And light shall shine upon thy ways.”
Proverbs 18:21, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart from your MOUTH! Then you will make your way prosperous and then you will have good success!”
Church, the anointing that is falling on the church right now is an anointing to announce victory and see the victory that is announced. It’s an anointing to blow the trumpets in the land and proclaim our God reigns. It’s an anointing to speak these things that are not as though they are and watch them manifest.
In 1 Samuel 17, Goliath the giant cries out day after day, defying the armies of God. Finally, someone with the anointing shows up to the battlefield. Church, David defeated Goliath with his words before he ever slung a stone. He defeated him with his words before he ever used Goliath’s sword to cut his head off.
1 Samuel 17:45-46, “Then David said to the Philistine, ‘You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.’”
Preacher, what are you trying to say? David announced victory before he saw the victory. Right now, church God is saying, “Blow the trumpets in the land! Go and proclaim who I am and what I am doing in the earth.”
Beloved, hear me clearly today by the Spirit of God; some of you need to stop praying for victory and start announcing victory. God has heard your prayers, and He is ready to fight on your behalf. But He is waiting for your faith to be activated. He is waiting on you to walk up to that giant and announce, “Today is the day you die. Today is the day you lose your head. Today is the day you lose your place in my home. Today is the day you lose your place in my life. Today is the day you lose your place in my finances. Today is the day you lose your place in my children. Today is the day you lose your place in my marriage. Today is the day you lose your place in my business. Today is the day you lose your place in my body.”
Secondly, this anointing is falling on the church right now because for too long we have been passive and silent about things we should be speaking out about. Church there is a right way to do right things and there are wrong ways to do right things. And because there have been times in the past where the church did right things in wrong ways, it caused the church to become silent, neutral, and passive about wickedness.
This anointing that is falling on the church right now is placing trumpets in the hands of Holy Ghost filled men and women to stand up and make a sound in the land. Right now, it’s time for the church to get their trumpets back in their hands a make a sound in the land. It’s time for wickedness to be called out and righteousness to be exalted in the land.
It’s time for us to protect our children from the demonic agenda that’s being released across this land. It’s time for us to stand up for sex traffic victims and stop voting in the perpetrators. It doesn’t matter if they are Republican or Democrat. Regardless if they are they are the same skin color or not. You can’t pray for sex traffic victims to be rescued and then vote in wicked politicians that keep them in bondage.
Church, it is time. It is high time that we wake up and put trumpets in our hands. It’s time that we stop trying to put new wine in old skins. It’s time that we sell completely out to the Kingdom of God and not to the color of our skin, and not to our political preference, and not to our old ways. But we give ourselves completely to the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, for we are children of the King.
Let's pray together...
