Get Back On Your Feet || Day 4

Deuteronomy 11:22-28 NKJV

“For if you carefully keep all these commandments which I command you to do—to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, and to hold fast to Him— then the Lord will drive out all these nations from before you, and you will dispossess greater and mightier nations than yourselves. Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory. No man shall be able to stand against you; the Lord your God will put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, just as He has said to you. “Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.”

Joshua 1:1-3 NKJV

After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”

Psalms 68:20-23 NKJV

Our God is the God of salvation; And to God the Lord belong escapes from death. But God will wound the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of the one who still goes on in his trespasses. The Lord said, “I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea, That your foot may crush them in blood, And the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”

Romans 16:20 NKJV

And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Another thing that is designed to take out the feet of the child of the Kingdom is getting worn down.

King Asa took over the kingdom of Judah, and a sad legacy of wicked forefathers. His mother was so wicked with the worship of idols that he had to remove her from her royal position.

For 36 years, this man of God made reform after reform, defeated enemy after enemy, gained territory after territory, all with the help of God. Generations watched as his heart of loyalty towards God caused him to see incredible exploits done for the name of the Lord.

But after a time, the effects of the work and his age wore him down to the point where he began to rely on the kingdoms of this world to help him when he was in trouble.

When the man of God came to correct him, instead of calling on the Lord, like he had done for generations, he became angry, and rejected the word of the Lord and His messenger.

Sadly, the last two years of his great reign were spent off of his feet, and in stark contrast to how he had lived his life before the Lord. He started out taking territory. He ended taking trips to the doctor's office.

II Chronicles 16:12 NKJV

And in the thirty-ninth year of his reign, Asa became diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the Lord, but the physicians.

I have a request for the faithful mothers and fathers of this great Kingdom we serve…

This is not a correction. This is a request. Finish this thing how you started it. You have been our examples in faithfulness unto the Lord. You’ve been the ones who told us and showed us that the Kingdom of God advances in the earth when the people of God are going and doing the work. Please don’t get worn down. Please don’t let the world define your limitations. Finish this race!

Pray with me…
