Unity: The Secret to Victory || Part 2 - Day 3

Psalms‬ 133‬:1‬-3‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron, Running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, Descending upon the mountains of Zion; For there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore.

I Corinthians‬ 1‬:10‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Matthew‬ 18‬:18‬-22‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. “Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.”

Unity causes you to build the impossible.

Unity causes you to believe for the impossible.

Unity causes you to become the impossible.

1 Corinthians 12:12-13 (NKJV), “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts forms one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.”

Beloved, think about how supernatural the church really is. First, we are a group of people that have been rescued from hell, and ourselves. Secondly, we are many different people groups and ethnicities in the church. The church is made up of different colors and nationalities. It’s made up of different backgrounds and cultures.

However, when we get born again not only are our sins forgiven, but we are also baptized into one body, the body of Christ. This is so powerful and evident that you can see tangible results in other believers. In other words, you can meet someone, and they can have a different earthly language. Their skin color can be different. The food they eat can be different, and the places they live can be different.

However, when you get around them you will quickly know they are a believer in Christ. How? You know nothing about them and have nothing in common in the natural. You know it because we are united in one body, the body of Christ. Therefore, even though you have nothing in common in the natural, you are united in the Spirit. Therefore, when you meet them, you realize you have met family.

Let’s pray…
