Build It || Part 2, Day 3

Matthew‬ 16‬:13‬-19‬ NKJV‬‬‬‬

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Luke‬ 19‬:13‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Church, when we come together and truly begin to praise and worship God in spirit and in truth the glory shows up here! That’s when God steps in and begins to move powerfully. That’s when the atmosphere is ripe for signs, wonders, and miracles. That’s when people find hope and healing. That’s when the things that seem to be mountains become flat.

That’s when the enemies of the kingdom of God begin to run. Church, do you want to see the enemies of God bow? Start praising the Lord with all you have. Do you want to see the chains break off of your mind and life? Start praising the Lord with all you have. Do you want to see prison doors open and household salvation show up? Start praising the Lord with all you have.

In 2 Chronicles 20 the children of Judah received a word from the Lord and decided to fight their battle differently instead of having a pity party, instead of feeling sorry for themselves, instead of getting angry and blaming God, and instead of getting depressed and shutting everyone out.

They stirred up their faith and put praise in their mouths and worship in their hearts. And the next morning they marched towards their enemies with praise and worship. The Bible says the Lord set an ambush against their enemies. In other words, when they truly gave God their praise and worship, He defeated their enemies, and they didn’t even see it coming.

Let’s pray together…
