God Ain't Done Yet || Part 8 - Day 3
I Corinthians 1:25-29 NKJV
Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.
Judges 6:1-16 NKJV
Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord. So the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years, and the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of the Midianites, the children of Israel made for themselves the dens, the caves, and the strongholds which are in the mountains. So it was, whenever Israel had sown, Midianites would come up; also Amalekites and the people of the East would come up against them. Then they would encamp against them and destroy the produce of the earth as far as Gaza, and leave no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. For they would come up with their livestock and their tents, coming in as numerous as locusts; both they and their camels were without number; and they would enter the land to destroy it. So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried out to the Lord because of the Midianites, that the Lord sent a prophet to the children of Israel, who said to them, “Thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘I brought you up from Egypt and brought you out of the house of bondage; and I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out before you and gave you their land. Also I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; do not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not obeyed My voice.’ ” Now the Angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth tree which was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, while his son Gideon threshed wheat in the winepress, in order to hide it from the Midianites. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!” Gideon said to Him, “O my Lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” So he said to Him, “O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to him, “Surely I will be with you, and you shall defeat the Midianites as one man.”
The anointing, the grace, for God’s will to happen speedily in the earth.
2 Peter 3:8, “But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”
2 Chronicles 16:9, “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.”
In Matthew 6:10, when Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, He told them pray, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.”
In other words, God is still using people to accomplish His will in the earth. Therefore, the anointing that I’m speaking of is an anointing that comes upon His people. This anointing causes things to happen or come to fruition quickly. Right now, we are living in a time when things are happening quickly, and they have to happen quickly.
Church, think about this, if the Father has in His will for the rapture to happen in the year 2030, that means that everything in His will for your life has to be accomplished in the next seven years. If He’s promised you that your prodigal is coming home, then in the next seven years, it’s going to happen. If it’s in His will for you to reach a million people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, then in the next seven years it has to happen. The anointing for God’s will to happen speedily in the earth is upon His people.
What I love about God is that when that anointing falls upon you, it seems to affect everything else in your life as well. Because the Lord knows if it’s His will for you to be very prosperous and help finance this mighty harvest of souls, then it has to be accomplished quickly. That means there is a continuous flow of breakthrough, promotion, and creative ideas manifesting in the earth right now. This anointing that is falling on the church right now will affect every area of your life.
What I see happening in the kingdom right now is the attempt from the devil to try and delay things. He is trying to derail things or even cause the people of God to be neutralized in the earth. In other words, there is a constant attempt to stop things or isolate things in the earth right now. The devil knows his time is running out so he’s trying to stop it.
But there’s a few things out of the story of Gideon that help us expose his tactics. It helps us see the strategies he seeks to use against the church to try and get us out of position or out of place to walk in this anointing.
