Build It: Part 5
Build It || Part 5, Day 2
Matthew 16:13-19 NKJV
When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” So they said, “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
Luke 19:13 KJV
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Ezra 4:1-6 NKJV
”Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the descendants of the captivity were building the temple of the Lord God of Israel, they came to Zerubbabel and the heads of the fathers’ houses, and said to them, “Let us build with you, for we seek your God as you do; and we have sacrificed to Him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assyria, who brought us here.” But Zerubbabel and Jeshua and the rest of the heads of the fathers’ houses of Israel said to them, “You may do nothing with us to build a house for our God; but we alone will build to the Lord God of Israel, as King Cyrus the king of Persia has commanded us.” Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia. In the reign of Ahasuerus, in the beginning of his reign, they wrote an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem.“
The first strategy the devil tries to keep you from building is to join you.
Not everybody who speaks well, means well. The devil loves to use this strategy on the church. He knows that our mission is the preach the gospel to all people. He knows that we are doing everything we can to get as many people born again and right with God. Therefore, he uses that against us and tries to send in people with assignments from hell on their lives.
I didn’t say these people were from hell. I said they have assignments from hell on their lives. In other words, they might not know they’re being used by the devil to divide the church. But everywhere they go they seem to have a big conflict following them in the church and the church divides. I have seen this many different times since I have been in the ministry. People come into a church and for a little while seem to be in line with the vision, the people, and the mission.
But after a while, they begin to cause problems with this person. Then they lie on this person. Then they accuse a leader of this and begin to tell others what God has said to them about the church. Before you know it, confusion has come into the church and people are fighting and dividing. Almost 90% if time if you were to look back at the last church, they were at you will find the same thing happened. Why?
The devil is using them and sending them from place to place to destroy the vision and the mission that Heaven has placed on the house. That’s why the stronger the vision, and the more powerful the mission, the more intercessors we must have in this house. If there is a global vision and mission, there must be global intercession.
Church, hear the word of the Lord. There is a place where the church can get to in the glory where all schemes and strategies of hell are revealed before they can ever be released. There is a place in God that assignments from hell can be seen a mile away. There is a place in God where none of these weapons prosper against the church.
Preacher, how do you know this? In Acts chapter 5 we read about the story of Ananias and Sapphira. This couple came into the church, seeking to be a part of the leadership for the wrong reasons. They felt they could buy their way into the leadership. Their motives were revealed through the discerning of spirits, and they were judged immediately.
Then we read this verse of scripture in Acts 5:13, “Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly.” This does not mean people were not being born again and becoming part of the church. This means that people who sought to enter the church and harm it, or it with their own agendas, dare not touch it.
Beloved, I prophesy over ALC ministries that we are in that place in God where all the weapons of the enemy will not prosper. I prophesy over this ministry that not one assignment of hell will be accomplished against us. We will grow and unite even greater and the blessing on this house will be the blessing on your house and the will of God will be accomplished in the earth.
Pray with me…
